Terms of service
These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place through it. We have written them to be read rather than skimmed past.

Who we are
This website is operated by AURYXRESEARCH LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17388727, trading as AURYX Parfums. Where these terms say “we”, “us” or “our”, they mean that company.
We are not registered for VAT. Prices shown on this site are the total price of the goods and contain no VAT element, so no VAT invoice can be issued.
You can reach us at hello@auryx.co.uk. We answer in writing, usually within one working day.
These terms, and changes to them
By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them before you order; if you do not agree with them, do not place an order.
We may change these terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in the law or in how we operate. The version that applies to your order is the version published on this page at the moment you placed it, and changing this page later does not alter a contract already formed.
How an order is formed
Placing an order is an offer to buy. It is not accepted until we send you a dispatch confirmation, and the contract between us is formed at that point. An order acknowledgement sent immediately after checkout confirms we have received your order; it is not acceptance of it.
We may decline an order. The usual reasons are that an item has sold out, that we have identified a pricing or description error, that we cannot ship to your address, or that we cannot obtain authorisation for payment. If we decline after taking payment, we refund in full and promptly.
Price and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are shown on the product page. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout before you pay. UK delivery is free on orders over £50 and £4.95 below that; Nexus Day next-working-day delivery is £6.95.
We take payment through Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own hosted page and are never received or stored by us. We accept the cards and wallets shown at checkout.
We try hard to price correctly, but errors happen. If we spot an obvious pricing error before dispatch — a bottle listed at a small fraction of its real price, for instance — we will contact you and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. We will not simply charge you the difference.
Delivery
Delivery timescales, costs and the 6pm dispatch cut-off are set out on our shipping page, which forms part of these terms. Estimates are estimates and not guarantees, since the carrier is not under our control.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If nobody is available and the carrier leaves the parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour at your standing instruction, delivery is treated as complete.
Alcohol-based fragrance is classified as a limited-quantity dangerous good, which restricts how it can be carried by air. Some destinations we cannot serve at all; where that is the case, checkout will tell you before you pay.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
Our 30-day guarantee, your statutory 14-day cancellation right, and how to start a return are all set out on the returns page, which forms part of these terms.
In short
Thirty days, opened bottles included, free UK returns label, refunded within five working days of the item reaching us. Your statutory rights sit alongside this and are not affected by it.
Product descriptions and how fragrance behaves
We describe our fragrances as accurately as we can, including what we think they do badly. Note lists describe the composition, not a guarantee of what you personally will smell.
Fragrance genuinely behaves differently on different skin, in different weather, and at different times of day. Two people can wear the same bottle and describe it differently, and both be right. Colours on screen are also approximate. None of this is a defect, which is precisely why the 30-day guarantee covers opened bottles.
We blend in batches of roughly two hundred bottles from natural materials that vary between harvests. Small variation between batches is expected and is not a fault.
Safe use
Our products are cosmetic products for external use on skin. Do not drink them. Keep them away from children, from eyes, and from open flame — they are alcohol-based and flammable. Store away from direct sunlight and heat.
Full ingredient lists, including declarable allergens, are printed on every carton and published on each product page. If you have a known sensitivity, read them before buying and patch-test on a small area of skin first. Stop using a product if you develop a reaction, and seek medical advice if it persists.
Your account and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 to buy from this site. If you create an account, keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for orders placed through it unless you have told us it has been compromised.
You may not use this site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or resell our products commercially without our written agreement.
Our content
The text, photography, artwork, layout and brand names on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may share links and reproduce short extracts with attribution. You may not copy our product copy or artwork wholesale for commercial use.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, and for your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was formed, or for business losses — we supply to consumers for personal use, and if you buy for a business purpose we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts or opportunity.
Complaints and governing law
If something has gone wrong, email us first. We would much rather fix it ourselves, and most problems are resolved within a day or two.
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
